Why Parkly Exists
Built by a Clemson student to make parking simpler, clearer, and less stressful for students and families.

Built by someone who understands the parking struggle firsthand.
Hi, I'm Alex Teufel, the founder of Parkly.
I'm a Clemson student, and I started Parkly because I saw how stressful parking can be for students who need their cars at school. Limited availability, unclear options, long walks, towing concerns, and last-minute uncertainty can make parking feel way harder than it should be.
Parkly came from a simple idea:
What if students could reserve trusted parking before the semester starts?
That's what we're building.
Our Mission
Parkly exists to make student parking simpler, clearer, and more reliable. Our goal is to help students find trusted parking options before the semester starts, with transparent locations, clear pricing, and a smoother reservation process from start to finish.
What We're Doing Differently
- Clear parking locations
- Transparent semester pricing
- Limited drops based on availability
- Waitlist priority honored in order
- Payment protection before access begins
- Simple communication before the semester starts
Starting Small, Building Trust
Parkly is starting with limited Clemson-area parking drops so we can do this the right way. We're focused on clear communication, fair access, and making sure students and parents know exactly what they're reserving.
This is not meant to feel like a random parking post or unclear arrangement. Parkly is built to make the process more organized, transparent, and reliable.
A note from the founder
I'm building Parkly because I believe students deserve better parking options and more clarity before the semester starts. We're still early, but every drop is designed around one goal: making student parking less stressful for Clemson students and their families.
